When Alia Bhatt's Father And Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt Said Ranbir Kapoor's Biopic Title Should Be 'Ladies Man' - WATCH HERE
Mahesh Bhatt is pretty supportive of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's relationship, but there was a time when he considered Jr RK as 'Ladies Man'.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's relationship has received blessings from their parents already. Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Neetu Singh and Late Rishi Kapoor accepted their relationship long ago and have now become comfortable with the two stars living together. But there was a time when Mahesh Bhatt considered Ranbir Kapoor as 'Ladies Man'. It was on Koffee With Karan that Mahesh Bhatt had to suggest a title for biopics of stars and that's when he expressed his opinion about Ranbir.
Mahesh Bhatt appeared with Emraan Hashmi on Koffee With Karan and during the rapid-fire round, he was asked to give a title to biopics of stars. For Salman Khan, he said 'My Name Is Khan' and for Ranbir Kapoor, he chose the title 'Ladies Man'. That's not all. When Mahesh Bhatt was asked to name an overrated movie according to him, he picked Ranbir Kapoor's Barfi. Further, the filmmaker also shared that he wanted to walk out of the theatre while watching Ranbir's Rockstar.
Looks like Mahesh Bhatt's views about Ranbir Kapoor have now indeed changed. He now considers the Junior RK as 'good man' and is okay with his daughter Alia Bhatt dating him.
On the work front, Mahesh Bhatt is soon to direct his daughter Alia in Sadak 2 that also stars Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Pooja Bhatt. (Also Read: INSIDE Alia Bhatt’s New Office Designed By The Actress And Her Dear Zindagi Art Director; Plans On Using It Post Lockdown)
P.S. In the same episode of Koffee With Karan, Mahesh Bhatt had quipped that no one should think of dating his daughter Alia and that he will keep her locked. That's being a typical dad, isn't it?
